Fatima Zahra Lbouhmadi
I am the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist at the Internet Society Foundation. In this role, I contribute to the Philanthropy team’s capacity-building efforts for staff and grantees, particularly in designing and implementing trainings and strategies to measure the effectiveness of programs and grants.
I have a background in governance, politics, social work, and gender mainstreaming. In 2023, I worked on inclusive education projects funded by USAID in Morocco to support their M&E work. My most significant experience was with the National Democratic Institute, where I coordinated M&E work in Morocco and Iraq from 2011 to 2022 and worked on programs supporting political parties, CSOs, women, and youth.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in general engineering with a minor in mathematics from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI) and am pursuing my executive master’s degree in public policy and development at the International University of Rabat (UIR). I speak Arabic, English and French.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and hiking. I also cherish moments spent with my nephews, who bring a lot of joy to my life. I am based in Rabat, Morocco.
