John Mwangi
I joined the Internet Society Foundation as the E-learning Delivery Advisor, Data Management in March 2024. I help learners to have the best learning experiences by ensuring courses are implemented in a human-centred design. Besides, I provide learning management system (LMS) back-end support to learners to motivate their course completion.
Before joining Internet Society Foundation, I worked at inkomoko as senior trainer entrusted with managing Refugee entrepreneurs’ trainings in Kenya. I also worked for Committee Linking Entrepreneurs, Agriculture and Development (COLEAD) as Expert Trainer for Africa, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) region in charge of trainings and learning management system. I have also worked for World Vision Kenya, UNDP Kenya, USAID projects and various consultancies in research, advocacy, and training.
I hold Bachelor of Education, MBA, and currently pursuing PhD. Additionally, I have instructional design and micro learning Certificate. When not working, I enjoy joining youth gatherings to learn their ‘street’ language as I mentor them. I also enjoy participating in community service. I also enjoy local gospel music.
